After 20 years of running a guesthouse in Battle East Sussex Bob and Mandy Phillips decided to retire and change their way of life. Their existing property had a large garden so one of the requirements for their new property was minimal maintenance together with stunning views.
They were aware of the Pelham Gates development at Crowhurst Park and decided to take a look. Gary Honeysett the General Manager showed them around the show home. They were very impressed with the quality of the build and the ability to bespoke the home to their requirements. Bob and Mandy favoured natural timber built houses and realised that the Honka homes at Pelham Gates were built to a much higher standard to other houses they had seen.
The specification they decided upon was to have two bedrooms, each with a walk in wardrobe, a sauna, utility room and a larger lounge. The property came with under floor central heating and triple glazing, making it very cost effective to heat.
The build took six months from start to finish and Bob paid regular visits to oversee the construction. He was extremely impressed with the workmanship, the quality of materials used and the attention to detail.
Bob and Mandy have furnished the property to a very high standard and plan to stay in the home for the majority of the year. They enjoy the use of the facilities at Crowhurst including the Leisure Club, coffee lounge, bar and restaurant.
